Barcelona - April 2015

There was probably no better way to spend my 30th birthday than enjoying the warm Mediterranean sun. Luckily our room was only a short walk down to the beach at Barceloneta.

We stayed on the edge of El Barri Gotic which is the old district. It was an especial treat being repeatedly offered various substances. A very friendly people.

Sunday was spent hiking at Montserrat. A cable car takes you to the monastery and funiculars from the monastery to reach other areas.

The weather was great on the way up ....

But the view from the top left something to be desired as the clouds rolled in.

We met some friends on the way back down but we couldn't stay and chat.

The dirt was so red. It reminded me of Australia.

In anticipation of my birthday we spent the last night of my twenties embracing impending old age at the opera.

There was some great architecture ...

But none better than Gaudi. We visited Casa Mila, Casa Batllo, Park Guell and Sagrada Familia.

The greatest thing about Barcelona was the amazing market food and the sunny spring weather. Returning to London never felt so depressing.

London Street Art Edition 1.

On a daily basis Asha and I walk through some of the most vibrant street art areas in East London. Below are a few of our favourites we've spotted thus far.
